Judith Leiber Couture introduces a limited-edition collaboration with Lucasfilm, featuring two novelty clutches inspired by R2-D2, the beloved astromech droid from the acclaimed Star Wars™ films.
The Star Wars x Judith Leiber Couture collaboration reimagines the iconic R2-D2 droid in two colorways: Classic with 9,000 crystals in shades of chalk white, cobalt blue, jet black and sapphire and Gold with 9,000 24-karat gold-plated crystals.

The development of the Star Wars x Judith Leiber Couture collection took a full year to produce each exquisite work of art. Artisans hand set more than 9,000 crystals, artfully nesting each crystal to reflect light at every angle. With more than 150 hours of love and labor invested by skilled experts, R2-D2’s iconic image comes to life in a new and unique way.
